I’ve had much the same thoughts since just before the all too convenient Omicron showed up in Australia. I’d been modeling the delta wave here in Australia (NSW) and noticed the vaccine effectiveness parameter was falling off a cliff. Did some sums and realized the effectiveness appeared to be just be an artifact of the rollout. Was waiting for the whole house of cards to collapse, then bang, Omicron “game changer” appears. Started looking into PCR testing and thought you don’t even need a new virus you just need a new test. Only much later did I discover, I’m not the only one that was thinking along the same lines.
I have a hard time believing anything associated with the Bat Stew Flu, including the 'lab leak', variants, mutations and 'clones' being dumped simultaneously.
Ok, so we're going to release a novel bioweapon somewhere; where should we do it?
Shopping mall?
Sporting event?
Somewhere with LOTS of healthy people?
Fitness center?
